The location for escalator installation is prepared and designed according to the customer&#8217;s requirements and building utilization. In this arrangement, if the escalator is centrally located, exterior cladding will be required on both sides of the escalator. In this pattern, passengers have to pass through certain strategic locations by traveling a certain distance, which results in more visits to these locations. For example, in a commercial building with many stores such as a shopping mall, passengers will have to go from one floor to another on an escalator lined up in parallel, get off the escalator and go to the next one. This action will encourage them to look at the shop windows and buy what catches their eye at first sight. This is how escalators are effectively and strategically arranged and designed for each building.
