According to the standard, such escalators and moving walkways have options and features that enable them to operate under heavy loads and outdoors.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Handrails for these escalators are usually made of stainless steel, which provides higher durability and makes them more suitable for use in heavy traffic. Depending on the customer’s preference, they can order the inner part of the railing to be vertical or inclined, while the outer covering must comply with EN 115. . In infrastructure escalators, the escalators are laid parallel and the handrails are placed next to each other, creating a level surface. Obviously, since semi-outdoor escalators and moving walkways are outside the building, they are not in a temperature-controlled environment.
