Escalators are a type of moving staircase used to move people in high-traffic, multi-story buildings. The steps are arranged on a rotating device to provide continuous movement. They can carry many more people than elevators. The most preferred locations are shopping malls, plazas, business centers, subway and train stations, hotels, airports, overpasses, hospitals and exhibition centers. Escalators can be manufactured with an inclination angle of 30-35 degrees and step widths of 600mm, 800mm, 1,000mm.

The maximum length of escalator in our standard range ranges from 2 to 6 meters at an incline angle of 35 degrees. At 30 degrees we can manufacture up to 40 meters. We have a variety of models available. Indoor, outdoor and heavy duty durable. The capacity per hour is 3600, 4800, 6000 and 7300 people (9000 people per hour climbing according to En115-1-2017 standards). The inclination angles of our escalators are 30 and 35 degrees.

Amada TECH escalators are widely used in many parts of the world as an efficient solution in high-traffic areas such as subways, airports, train stations, overpasses and underpasses due to its energy-efficient, powerful load system, superior features and technology.
Outdoor escalators and moving walkways are installed on the outside of a building without a roof or other overhead coverings. As a result, they are fully exposed to the elements such as rain, snow, etc. These types of products have a wide range of options such as chiller and heater depending on the environmental conditions, water and oil separator to dry the internal volume.
Rain and snow accumulation. Given the fact that fully open escalators and moving walkways are directly exposed to various weather conditions, the standard requires that they have a certain high degree of protection for the main electrical components, such as the main control unit, inverter unit and safety switches.
In addition, the truss cladding of fully open escalators should be hot-dip galvanized with high corrosion resistance and all stainless steel components should be grade 304.
As with semi-open escalators, fully open escalators and moving walkways may utilize thin glass balustrades and solid handrails, depending on project conditions.
Although such escalators are capable of operating in all weather conditions, the standard recommends covering them with a roof for safety reasons. For example, in escalators or escalators without a roof, passengers in rainy or snowy weather have to cover their heads with an umbrella, which can lead to loss of balance, falls and even compromise the safety of other passengers.
