Our heavy duty escalators with features such as galvanized truss, reinforced parts and internal heating system can be used both indoors and outdoors and can be used in high traffic areas such as overpasses, bridges, shopping malls, airports, railway stations. All escalators are supplied and installed in accordance with the latest EN 115 -1 2017 regulations.
These escalators and moving walkways are suitable for high traffic areas such as subway or railroad stations, airports, pedestrian bridges, overpasses, etc. They must be able to withstand a heavy load of passengers during peak hours. According to the standard, such escalators and moving walkways have options and features that enable them to operate under heavy loads and outdoors.
Handrails for these escalators are usually made of stainless steel, which provides higher durability and makes them more suitable for use in heavy traffic. Depending on the customer’s preference, they can order the inner part of the railing to be vertical or inclined, while the outer covering must comply with EN 115. . In infrastructure escalators, the escalators are laid parallel and the handrails are placed next to each other, creating a level surface. To prevent people from slipping on this area, some handrail guards should be installed.

Our products are equipped with fire-sensitive cable lines and sprinkler fire extinguishing systems. Outdoor escalators and moving walkways are installed outside the building without a roof or other upper coverings. Obviously, since semi-outdoor escalators and moving walkways are outside the building, they are not in a temperature-controlled environment. Therefore, compared with indoor escalators, they have some additional capabilities depending on the geographical location.
